I just received a bottle of this, new old stock from 2015. I know it’s authentic. I am completely anosmic to it. It’s the strangest thing. I can smell the faintest hint of it, but I suppose it’s the same type of condition (?) as certain people who are anosmic to particular musk molecules. Simply cannot smell this. Aha, I read it is a missing gene some of us have, our brains unable to detect certain musk molecules on which this perfume is built, which is why some say it doesn’t last, or they can’t smell anything, while others can. I wonder whether I’d be able to smell one of the newer formulations. I’ll need to test it when I’m out and about. Disappointing, but oh well. Another one for the donate bag. No more blind buying!

I like this very much, drydown is beautiful on my skin. First spray is a little bit harsh and piercing, but then - beauty. Cedar, musk and amber in base notes are my favourite ingredients and with my skin smells divine. Longevity is what it is - still EDT. Projection for people in environment is nice (like a summery breeze around citron lemonade). My mam used it during my childhood, so I have connection with this period - trouble-free life area :-) I agree to compare with Moschino I love love (but it is sharper) and find some same vibe with Lanvin Eclat d'Arpege (not exactly same, but maybe some notes on my skin is similar). I do not understand new bottle - I do not like it.
I can't believe I waited 25 years to try this. It's simple and bright and citrus and amber on the drydown. Just lovely. It's already fall and I just blind bought it but I can't wait for next summer to make it my hot day fragrance. I always assumed it would have that department store edge to it that I don't appreciate but it doesn't at all. I can see why this D&G is a classic and it doesn't hurt that it's affordable as well. The opening is quite a fruit bomb (and I like it) but within an hour it's turning amberish on me. It's been a few hours now and the amber is now a skin scent . I'm quite pleased with longevity considering it's the EDT version.
upon testing this from a Sephora favorites fragrance set, I understand just why it’s been such a popular summer scent for the last 25 years. it is simple, straightforward, inoffensive citrus with a touch of woodiness. I could see anyone wearing this, from your 16 year old niece, to your 65 year old uncle. it is perfect for anyone looking for a no nonsense fresh, clean scent profile without putting much thought into anything. I will absolutely pick this up next time I see it for < $20 at TJ Maxx/Marshalls, just to have on hand for when I’m in the mood. I have never really felt pulled towards it enough to try, but I’m happy I have! :)
Light Blue is one of the best examples of how beautiful simplicity can be. The opening is a stunning burst of lemon, green apple, fresh sea breeze, and airy woods — clean, refreshing, effortless, and perfect for warm weather. The cedar in the drydown is especially beautiful, adding a subtle woody freshness that keeps the fragrance feeling completely unisex. Unfortunately, performance is the only real downside. On my skin, it becomes a skin scent very quickly, which is frustrating because the scent itself is so enjoyable. If it lasted longer, this would easily be one of my favorite fresh fragrances.
