This fragrance is sentimental as hell to me. The tobacco note reminds me of family, since most of my family smokes cigarettes that is. The tobacco note is very strong in this same with rum. If you are watching tiktoks, reels or consuming any sort of media where people are talking about other notes are just flat lying really that's all you'll get from this. I would say its good not only for winter but really even better for fall, the climate I'm in is fuckin cold and that just makes it so I can daily this all the more. I love love love this fragrance and not only that my brother put me onto it because I stole it from him. The projection is decent for what it is, and for me lasts somewhere between 6-8 hours, depends on the weather. Do i think its worth the price at retail no, but off discounters id say go for it.

My friend introduced me to Maison Margiela recently and I had to pick this one up. This is such a beautiful, comforting, intimate and masculine boozy tobacco scent. The opening feels a bit herbal and citrusy, but overall this is for sure an intense tobacco fragrance. I don't get a lot of vanilla. It lasts long on my clothes but it's an intimate scent. You do not wear this to fill the room you walk into, nor to get tons of compliments (not saying you won't, as it is very well loved). You spray this on yourself to feel good and confident, it has that magic. I only wear this at night time when I go out. Actually even when I do not, I just do 2-3 sprays at home, and this scent accompanies me through the evening.
This smells exactly how the Sheraton Hotel in Seattle Washington smelt from the times I visited from 05-08. I can't even describe the seperate notes. I had an immediate flashback to my teen years of visiting Seattle. Using the soap bar they provided in the shower, the smell of the reception room and bar. The front door with the security officer in a tux and people by the ashtrays smoking cigars. I have never had a perfume make me have flashbacks in my life like this before. I was immediately a teen, exploring a new city and seeing what I could get up to and explore.. First scent I have ever reviewed after one wear but I have never had a scent transport me back in time like this unintentionally.
A polarizing Maison Margiela Replica classic. The booze in this is insanely realistic. I put a little bit in a diffuser and when I came back into the room it smelled exactly like a dive bar. The kind where the air is thick and you can smell the alcohol from god knows how many spilled drinks. The tobacco smells like smoked cigarettes. It's wild how realistic this is. This is very much the right fragrance for the right person, and also very much the wrong fragrance for the wrong person. Do not wear this to the office unless you want your boss and coworkers to think you're wearing the same clothes you wore out to a bar the night before.
Was my signature for many years; I love the boozy and smokey notes, but this pulled surprisingly sweet on me, almost like a very sugary syrupy cocktail made with dark smokey liquor. I was surprised to find out this is most commonly considered to be a masculine scent as the sweetness of it on me made me think it was primarily for women. The sweetness eventually led me to retiring this and looking for something similar but with more mature of a scent profile. It doesn't change my love for it, I just found that it started to remind me more of the body sprays I wore in high school than the fragrances I gravitate towards now as an adult.
