Guidance is a masterpiece. Utterly multifaceted. Complicated, joyful, serious, pensive, divisive, sensual, playful, opulent, restrained, uncontained, passionate, unapologetic, erotic, poetic, confident, humble, honest. Sweet, salty, resinous, airy, dense, clean, dirty. Mood swings. It’s a complete woman, in every sense of what it means to be one, with all her parts. A life fully lived. Experienced. It is to the point where, yes, a man could wear this.. however it’s silly if a man wore this. Of course, I wouldn’t be offended if a man did, but to me it would feel so misplaced. You may think that’s so silly to say, yes fragrance is for everyone, however this thing is straight up hormonal, estrogen on full blast. Quentin Bisch so carefully and THOUGHTFULLY crafted this with women in mind and it’s so blatantly obvious. It’s beautiful. I know there was already a perfumed named “Womanity”, but it would’ve been perfect for this one.

I am captivated as hell by this, and I'm praying it never goes off the market, that level. What modern witchcraft is Quentin Bisch up to? It's just insane. I love every part of this scent, whichever dimensions of blooms it took me to. I'm in, hun, I'll take that ride blindfolded. A whole delicious woody journey. For me, roses are not the prominent note in this baby. It's mostly a gourmand delight, woods top to bottom, which is my go-to scent preference at all times. Creamy, alluring, sensual, meditative, goddess breath. Speechless at how nuclear the sillage and longevity are!!! It's just such a gift. Love of my life in perfumery, eternally happy I found the ONE. End of speech, period.

This is by far the best Amouage perfume for women. I tried almost all other Amouage women perfumes, hoping i could find better or the same, but no. Such a creamy beast. A bit floral, nutty, creamy, the only perfume that has proper silage and longevity. I smelled it on several people that were 5 meters away from me in the mall and in the street. That is what i like and need in a perfume. Also you don’t need to over spray or add additional sprays, this lasts all day, if not more! So yes it is expensive but if you know you will use only 5 to 10 sprays per use, this will last forever. I do wish they make smaller bottles

received a sample of this and it hooked me. I can’t justify spending that much on a fragrance but my god it’s so beautiful I’m tempted. On initial burst I wasn’t blown over as it was strong and a bit sharp. But the dry down sang. it’s now six hours later and I can’t stop smelling my wrist. It’s opulent, indulgent and smells expensive. It’s heady without being heavy or cloying. I can pick up a faint note of hazelnut, and the rose is creamy without being shouty. The saffron is light instead of a punch in the face. It’s so beautifully blended. A masterpiece IMO.

Two sprays is all I need for this to linger all day and all night. Guidance provides a soothing and comforting dry-down similar to that of a fabric dryer sheet (the one I use is Downy Lavender). When I smelled this after about a few minutes, it gave me this “I’ve smelled this before but I can’t remember from where or how”. I can’t really pinpoint the exact notes I sense but this eau de parfum smells more feminine-leaning. If I smelled this on a guy, I would think he’s been cuddling with a woman who’s wearing it.
