Launched in 2013, Sì by Giorgio Armani is not just a perfume, but a true manifesto of modern perfumery. Signed by the famous nose Christine Nagel, it has redefined the concept of "Chypre" making it accessible, sweet and incredibly sophisticated. Sì is built on a magnetic contrast between the pungent freshness of the fruits and the warm depth of the base. The Opening: The absolute protagonist is the Blackcurrant. It is not a sugary "candy" fruit, but an intense, almost liqueur-like nectar, which immediately captures the attention. When the exuberance of the currants subsides, a very elegant bouquet of May Rose and Freesia emerges. It is the most feminine and bright part of the fragrance. which gives the wearer an aura of timeless grace. At the Dry down the "Modern Chypre" magic happens. Patchouli and woody notes give structure and character, while Vanilla and Ambroxan envelop everything in a creamy and persistent embrace. It doesn't go unnoticed, but it's never intrusive. Moderate/high sillage, leaves a sophisticated trace in the air without "choking" those around you. Sì by Armani is a contemporary classic. If you love perfumes that smell "clean but luxurious", with that dark fruity note that evolves into a reassuring warmth, this is a safe choice. It is a fragrance that transmits security and calm.

Australian actress Cate Blanchett has been confirmed as the new face of Giorgio Armani Parfums, a division of L’Oréal Luxe. Blanchett, who is rehearsing for a play with Isabelle Huppert at the Sydney Theatre Company, will be the face of an advertising campaign for a new eau de parfum called 'Sí' that will hit shelves at the end of the summer. The confirmation comes after weeks of unsubstantiated buzz following press reports about a fragrance collaboration between the actress and Giorgio Armani, who have a long-standing professional relationship. Blanchett has often worn Armani creations on the red carpet and openly expressed admiration of him.

the most elegant and kind british counselor at the sleepaway camp i went to when i was younger wore sì the summer after it hit the market, and my girlfriends and i were quietly intoxicated by it. one of us finally worked up the courage to ask her what she was wearing before the end of the summer, and that is when i was introduced to this iconic scent. on her, it smelt like the most delicate, cold, jammy, woody, boozy elixir. i'm not sure if it was her skin chemistry, a reformulation, or simply my taste evolving, but i now find sì merely pleasant enough, if a bit cloyingly sweet and vanilla-heavy.
I am honestly a bit shocked by some of the reviews of Si, but I understand where a lot of people are coming from. I tried this for the very first time recently after trying Replica's "On a Date" and it smelling absolutely putrid on my skin (I was so sad). I was interested in that one for the red wine note, and when it ended up performing so poorly on myself I went searching for something similar and Si came up again and again. I'm so happy it did because I love it so much! I wore it basically everyday even when the occasion didn't call for it because I just wanted to smell it on myself that much.
It's my first comment here. I think any other perfume didn't make me this conflicted... I remember my best friend, perfect girl in high school used to smell like this; she was smart, funny, charming and so feminine. I wanted to smell like her back then I remember. Yes, it was 'Si', and since then I had it several times, but I can't capture that feeling from high school. It must be my body chemistry, because on me it smells horribly sweet, makes me little nauseous... Big disappointment, as I still tend to like it when I smell it on someone else, but doesn't go well with my skin unfortunately.
If a fancy wine was a perfume this is litterlay what it would smell like. I think it is ok maybe it just isnt my taste but it smells good. It definitely has the seductiveness to it but Im looking at the notes and I dont smell many of them. This really is just a fruity, almost wine like fragrance. The projection is ok and it isnt really long lasting either. This is my church fragrance. This is a good fragrance but I’m not in love with it. It’s not generic I would say it is on the more unique side but it just doesnt stick out to me. The red Si is amazing though! 3/5
