The Matcha 26

My absolute favorite fragrance from Le Labo. I love this so, so much. The fig is definitely the star of the composition to my nose, with the creamy milky notes and matcha adding to the overall scent rather than taking center stage. I wouldn’t necessarily describe this as a straightforward matcha fragrance, since the fig is much more prominent, but honestly, I don’t even care because the result is gorgeous. There’s something about the combination of creamy milkiness and green fig that makes this fragrance incredibly addictive to me. It’s soft, comforting, and beautifully blended without being overly sweet or feeling generic. This is exactly the kind of fragrance I love, and I could honestly smell it all day. Le Labo has some great fragrances, but this one is on another level for me. Absolutely obsessed.

I think that I like this, but I'm not sure that it feels like ~me~ or that I can really pull this off. I've been wearing it in my office today and while I think its lovely and super well-blended, I feel slightly like an imposter. I think I would love to smell this on a very androgynous leaning masculine person or a someone very effortlessly good-looking. Someone who could be a model and looks super chic in just a white t shirt and vintage denim. I read that Bad Bunny wears this and upon first sniff I was like yeah, that makes sense. Its got the woody mysterious base but the citrus/fruity lift that makes it so effortless. Obviously, it does not smell like matcha at all, but I do think it smells a little bit like opening the wooden tea cabinet. I could see this being a great signature scent for someone!

When I first smelled this on skin I thought it felt a bit too soft and creamy for my personal taste, however over time it has become a smell that I miss, then get really happy when I smell it again. It's not supposed to be a photorealistic matcha frag; It's more trying to evoke the feeling of drinking matcha... a matcha latte more specifically. Super relaxing, clean, a tiny bit green yet also floral and soft. As a man I enjoyed wearing it, however, this would be beautiful on a woman in my opinion.

So zen and spa-like. Woody and citrusy, like a herbal tea scent. I personally call this ''fancy grass'' 😄, very green but the whiff screams expensive! So beautifully crafted. The matcha note here isnt very prominent, but I do get the slight creaminess. My absolute favourite mood-booster fragrance and my favourite from Le Labo, along with The Noir 29. It's a huge splurge must admit....... but worth the dopamine hit after every smell haha!

Thought it would be for spring but to my surprise I prefer this scent on a hot summer day. Citrus at the start is perhaps too sweet for me and not at all refreshing. When the weather is colder that citrus lingers for wayyy too long. After the citrus, in comes a soft, creamy yet green, calming and clean scent that is very delightful. The sun and the heat just get me to my favourite part quicker.
