First off it's not like Manaal. I bought Angham because Manaal was struggling to be like it and it just veers off to a different pistachio ambroxan bergamot universe. They kinda smell similar from the sprayer but Manaal is super ambroxan waxy sour-sweet and green, refreshing too, like Affection by Lattafa is with the pistachio and ambroxan sourness in both, while in the later drydown it becomes a vanilla-lavender-cacao sweet powdery scent reminiscent of Guimauve's later drydown minus its marshmallowy neroli. The sugared lavender cacao with the sour background in Manaal may give off that Goddess or Angham impression at times, but Manaal is not cozy, smooth, spicy and warm with rich vanilla like Goddess. Goddess and Angham are not screechy ambroxan sour or pistachio green. Manaal has no ginger spice and its freshness is the screechy ambroxan with the green pistachio. It still takes forever for the sugared vanilla lavender cacao to detach themselves from the piercing waxy sour bergamot cloud. Even after maceration when I get a sugared lavender cacao earlier on, it's still within this ambroxan sour ambery waxy blanket. Only if I wear it to bed and wake up, Manaal smells more powdery sweet almondy lavender and again it's more like Guimauve, with only a hint of Mon Guerlain.

I have not sampled BG so I cannot compare the two but not only is the hype around this one is very real, I LOVE this fragrance dna and I could not wait to get my mitts on this one and I finally have it. I have finery's athena (vanilla vanilla and more vanila) and maison alhambra's athena (More citrusy fresh take) and they are all similar. All of them are just different variations of BG and I need all of them lol. This fragrance dna is very much sig scent vibes for me. I do not understand who would not like this as it is a comfy/cozy feminine inoffensive perfume, unless it's the anti lavender crowd. If that's you, this one is not for you. If you like it but want less lavender then macerate and wait for it to blend so that the lavender can tone and smooth it out so it's not so sharp. There are very few lattafa fragrances I have sampled that I have not liked. For me their fragrances rarely disappoint.

This is the single best blind buy I have ever made. This fragrance smells like liquid gold. So warm, inviting, lightly spicy, and addictive. I cannot believe the price, I like it more than some of my expensive fragrances. I couldn’t be more obsessed I think this will quickly become my new signature scent. It’s perfect for every day because it’s not overbearing or offensive in any way but it’s still interesting and just so beautiful. The most prominent notes to my nose are vanilla, lavender, and ginger. I just got it in the mail today and maybe it’ll become even better with time but I see no need for leaving it to macerate based on how it is smelling and performing right out of the box. Though my bottle was produced 5 mo ago so that could be why.

My slightly used bottle of this saw the light of day today after sitting forgotten all summer. Maceration happened and the fragrance has changed. Opening accord is clearer and defined. Lavender and ginger now smell crisp and coherent. The vanilla that follows is far richer than when I first got Angham, and I am officially reversing my opinion: between Angham and Victoria, Angham wins. It’s not close, either. My god this is a beautiful scent. Just a warm and sweet vanilla with chocolate in the periphery and a whisper of freshness. Smells better than Creed’s Royal Exclusive vanilla. I’m not even a huge fan of vanilla, but I love this.

I bought a second bottle. I wrote a review earlier, and nothing has changed. On my skin, the OG Goddess is more multifaceted than Angham, but the two don't rule each other out. Angham is sweeter but not boring. Plus, I can start using the fragrance right away without maceration. I understand that we are all individuals, including when it comes to the scents we like and dislike. Fragrance creation is both science and art. Angham offers good value for money; it certainly doesn't fall into the category of cheap, low-quality scents. Compliment getter. Fortunately, the world of perfume is vast—there is something for everyone.
