Fierce Cologne

Ok, first of all, I'm not a person who leaves comments online. It's just not my cup of tea. I do that very rare and it's usually triggered by a good reason. And A&F signature scent Fierce is at least a good reason in my opinion. I'm going to try to be as objective as possible. I don't want to talk about its iconic status, nostalgic factor, the fact that over the time Fierce became a brand for itself, bigger than A&F. I certainly am not a fragrance expert, not by far. But, I am the end user, I am the voice of the common people and I have the privilege to offer my opinion, as well as all of you have. With that being said, I don't know if I can put it in any other way than - Fierce is undoubtedly D best fragrance I have ever encountered with. I've been using it for almost 20 years now. And each and every time, I thought about changing it, or trying something new and different, I was always disappointed. I know how this sounds and it is almost impossible that over so much time I couldn't find something else equally good or better. But, let me remind you that this is only my opinion and my review. That means this counts only for me. I hope it's absolutely clear, the difference between stating an opinion and imposing an opinion on someone. I get people who use many different fragrances, I get people who are experts and who understand fragrances on some higher level comparing to me. I get a person who worships a plain simple deodorant. Diversity exists so everyone can feel like a winner. But, my trophy, my Olympic gold medal is Fierce.

Fierce is the first fragrance I ever owned. It is a great, bold, woods, young masculine scent reminiscent of the early 2000's mall scene, although the fragrance is great on its own too. My uncle, sister, and I went to the local mall and my uncle decided to get me a gift and noticed that I liked the fragrance and rang it up. This would have been around 2007 and that formulation was by far the strongest fragrance I have ever come across then and since. I started at two or three sprays and every stranger around me commented, usually a complement paired with a note about the strength. Went to down to one spray, got a comment halfway across a parking lot. Went down to pushing down the atomizer halfway to get to a reasonable sillage. I went to get another bottle, the art on the bottle looked different, but the name was the same. That was when I learned about reformulation. The new bottle was so much weaker and had a slight earthiness that wasn't the the previous formulation. People of that early 2000's mall scene associate this one as a loud frat boy kind of scent, maybe fairly, maybe unfairly, but honestly separate the memories and it definitely is a solid aromatic choice.

Like others in here, I've smelled hundreds of men's fragrances. This is an iconic smell that's as good as any fragrance for men ever created. Granted, my bottle is at least 10 years old and so I can't speak on newer juice. Perhaps they've reformulated it somewhat because I see others saying that it's weak. That's definitely not true in my case. This is perhaps the best musk fragrance of all time. Better in my opinion than Creed Aventus, which the House of Creed has definitely reformulated and destroyed. It's sweet, but not too sweet. Musky but not to the point of animalic. Woody but not too woody or green. The only real thing that's probably held this back in the mind's of many is the original advertising campaign and the brand itself, who directed its stores to pump it throughout the various quadrants of the mall where it could be found.

This is fire. I forgot how good this was. Has a very similar profile of a lot bangers. However, it's pretty weak and has nowhere near the longevity that it used to. But this scent profile is right up my alley in every way. Reminds me a lot of Chanel egoiste platinum and MB legend. Has those kind of vibes. Also, call me crazy, but I found myself thinking it smells a lot like Maahir Legacy as well. I've heard about a couple really good dupes out there that actually have great longevity, so I'm Def gonna grab one of those and see how they perform. Overall, a great fragrance if you like this sort of scent profile. In a world of sweet smelling sickly everything smells like vanilla cinnamon and candy, it was nice to revisit this.

I bought it today..i really like it..it indeed has "nostalgia" vibe..i am 30 and i haven't smelled that for yeaaars😝..i dont know about the explorer edp edt etc..i see many complaints about the permormance..dude this stays on clothes like forever and on my skin is also good..and for the scent i would not like it much stronger..for a fresh type edt i think that its as strong as it should be..i have to mention that i do spray it many times,not just 4-5 sprays to stay..needs more,but if you overspray it a little its strong
