Turathi Blue

Incredibly good versatile but original summer freshie, I think it suits everyone, the smell is expensive but you can pull it off no matter how rich you are. It's a fresh and amber type of cologne but also very rich smelling. In the top you get a burst of fresh energizing citrus, with a bit of grapefruit and marine notes, but also everything lays on an ambery base, which you can smell instantly and gives much depth. In the heart the amber starts to stand out, it's heavy but fresh at the same time, you're also left with some of the citruses and musk starts to come out. In the base you're left with musk laying on amber. It suits absolutely every scenario, maybe its a but more summer suited but you can still wear it in the winter. The projection is incredible, it can be a room filler and also the longevity is pretty amazing.

I got a sample of this as I really wanted to try it and I must say, the quality of this fragrance is phenomenal. It has this classy, sophisticated smell to it, I believe it could be used as daily but I think its better for special occasions, when you are dressed up and or when you want to feel like you are the MAN. I do get the champagne type of smell people are talking about, it just smells like you know what youre doing with your life. 10/10 cant wait to commit and buy a bottle of this when I can. Projection: 2 hours and longevity 5-6 hours, honestly not bad at all.

Absolute favorite fragrance of mine. One of the cleanest, cheap, easy to wear citrus/fresh perfume. Smells slightly synthetic, however it is a really good fragrance. Very traditional clean, citrus, "blue" fragrance. Opens with a strong hint of citrus, slightly synthetic, then dries down to a spicy, clean, fresh citrus-amber. The drydown is good, and is still strong. Longevity is decent, considering it's a synthetic-ish citrus perfume, so 5-6 sprays is preferred. Banger summer perfume if you wanna smell like a clean, spicy citrus. Very safe blind buy imo.

I get all of the negative comments for this perfume. Some of the negative comments may be coming from those who don't care to see "inspired by" scents sell their brands, while other negative comments may be coming from impatient people. Nevertheless, over the years I've slowly developed my knowledge of perfumes and have to say Afnan did well here. The trick with Turathi Blue is patience. It took a while for this scent to fully mature but now, its true colors are apparent. It's not a 1:1 of Tygar, but a great alternative if you want to save money.

One of my favourite warm-weather fragrances and incredible value for money. Bright, fresh and citrusy with that distinctive grapefruit character, but with enough amber and woods underneath to give it more depth than a typical fresh fragrance. Clean, masculine and very easy to wear, with good projection and performance. Smells considerably more expensive than it is and one I regularly reach for in warmer weather, however I think this is great for any time of year.
