Unraveling the Mystery of Tester vs Brand Perfume

What is a Tester?

A Tester is an authentic original perfume that is usually packaged in a plain outer box without any labels. Testers are typically produced in the largest range of brand perfumes. The most common capacity is 100ml. The purpose of Testers is to be displayed in large perfume stores and shopping centers for people to sample the fragrance. Testers are usually not sold directly to customers but are often available for distribution and resale in the distribution and sales network. Each Tester contains 100% original perfume liquid, with the same ingredients as the official packaged perfumes.

How to Identify Official Tester Perfumes?

It's simple. When you purchase perfumes online, make sure you are buying the exact product you want. Many of these products are described as Testers. Testers are as popular as regular brand perfumes. If the perfume you bought comes without packaging, a box, and without branded packaging design, usually in a plain white box, there is a high chance that it is a Tester perfume. Official brand perfumes packaged in their original design usually have a higher price than Tester perfumes.

What is the Difference Between Testers and Miniature Perfumes?

Miniature perfumes are usually free samples or promotional items used for testing the fragrance. Unlike Testers, miniature perfumes contain approximately 1.2ml of perfume and are usually housed in small bottles that resemble the full-sized perfume bottles. They are not meant to be sold or used for any purpose other than advertising. Their purpose is to provide a one-time experience of the scent to understand the product.
