I have owned this fragrance for over a year now and I do love the scent. However, everytime I spray this scent, I start coughing because of how potent it is. That isn't necessarily a bad thing because it really shows how it performs for a long time. Besides that, the rich scent of the tonka beans, vanilla, and praline added with the coffee fragrance really adds more warmth to it compared to the original. Performance on this is amazing and I definitely wouldn't use this in an enclosed space. For the price and performance it is a 10/10. Only thing is I feel like the scent of this fragrance isn't as well blended and smooth smelling compared to other winter fragrances with similar notes. It really is attention grabbing and also fetches compliments. I do wish the rum/whiskey note was more prominent like the og still great frag.

Last year when I first tried it, it was too masculine and lickerish for me. After one year of testing it whenever I visited a store that sells it and testing other fragrances from the same category, this not only grew on me but I believe that this one is the best of them all “fall vanillas” (in my opinion). If you are looking for perfect warm sweet boozy spicy fall and winter vanilla - look no further. Coffee is there, you just have to wait for it. It’s amazing both on women and men. It’s sexy. It’s cosy yet powerful. It’s kinda gourmand but also elevated for night out. It’s cardamom and cinnamon bun with coffee but it’s also an expensive alcohol drink yet also a delicious vanilla. It’s strong, it lasts and it projects. I got it for 35 euros on sale and will share it with my boyfriend. Perfectly unisex.

I loathed this fragrance initially. It seemed medicinal or distasteful chemical to me. I have had it hidden in the back of a drawer for about six months. I have moved to a much colder city and thought it might work better here, and I was right. It has matured into a very sticky fate/christmas pudding scent. I have sprayed lightly and seven hours later it’s still going strong. I suspect it will be on my sweater for weeks. It would be very easy to overdo this and it would be offensively strong. Even though I am not sure that gourmand fragrances are my jam - I prefer cleaner scents - I see the appeal. I have ordered two more Arab dupes. I’m eagerly awaiting Nava Sol and Cedrus Blanc. I have a feeling that these are both much more my style and as we are heading into summer in Aus, they will be perfect.

2nd scent of the day (PM), as initial Phlur tester gave up the ghost. Have been curious to give this a try since purchase was back in late winter/early spring - has been sat in a chest, untouched, since initial spray. It’s a very welcome and pleasant surprise - was stealing myself for yet another synthetic, cloying, vanilla bomb. Make no mistake, this is sweet, but it opens with an almost boozy calvados hit, and coffee, I definitely get the coffee note that others aren’t. There’s some spice in the background from cinnamon and vanilla, but they all seem to tie in fairly harmoniously. First impressions are pretty good. Let’s see how it dries down…

I would take the coffee note with a grain of salt. In my opinion, the cardamom and ginger notes are incredibly dominant. It dries down fairly sweet, but the spice still maintains its prominence at the same time. It's an acquired taste and I definitely wouldn't recommend blind buying, but it grew on me quickly and performs amazingly in comparison to its price point. Received a lot of compliments in the first week of wearing and layering this scent (layered with Vanilla 28). Quickly shot up to one of my top scents. Do NOT try to wear this in warm weather as it can become cloying very quickly.
