Velvet Vanilla Mancera: Upon initial application, the fragrance emanates an intense floral accord, with a dominant presence of white flowers. The olfactory experience is characterized by a delicate interplay of powdery and creamy notes, creating a bouquet reminiscent of white blossoms. The scent displays a versatile nature, suitable for both men and women, although it leans slightly towards the feminine spectrum. As the fragrance develops, subtle musky undertones emerge, particularly pronounced on my skin. Intriguingly, feminine fragrances often exhibit a more masculine character on me. This particular scent, however, maintains a moderate projection, refraining from announcing one's arrival or leaving a lingering trail like some of my preferred fragrances. Its intimate nature makes it an ideal choice for personal enjoyment, particularly well-suited for intimate encounters. 7.5 out of 10.

I loveeee this wow. So sweet, but not over the top, heavy on the bubblegum and vanilla. A lot of people are pressed with the love don’t be shy/Oriana comparison and it’s uncalled for lol. I am not a fan of ldbs or Oriana because to my nose, they smell redundant of old school sweet perfumes, i always try to get myself to like them but end up scrunching my nose on the dry down, even on testers. Velvet vanilla is like that unpretentious neighbor that you love. The florals are more noticeable but are balanced w notes that almost smell like marshmallow, but it’s great because it’s not an overdone floral like my way by GA, where the white florals are insanely heavy. Always sample first bc everyone’s noses are different, but i wish i blind bought this when it was on sale, instead i waited for my sample to come in and completely regret it. Have to wait for a whole other restock sadly.
Another decant from FragrancesLine. I want to try out the whole Mancera line, but I don't want to purchase bottles of the scents rated as more feminine without trying them out first. The opening of this one was not as feminine as I expected, and I thought for a minute it would be wearable for men, but only for a minute. The florals really come out to play as it dries down. Sillage on this one is huge! Fruity, and probably too floral for the taste of most of the women I hang around, BR540 junkies who associate really floral scents with their grandmothers, except for one that wears Black Opium Over Red. She'll probably dig this.
First of all - I've read synthetic but I think it's more some good quality food fragrances (but the musk). Why do I say this? I've worked for kitchens and food equipment and I have this idea: sometimes it's possible to find great fragrances borrowing them from the kitchen professionals. The tangerine - zesty aroma in this scent is so culinary and if it were purely synthetic I wouldn't be able to stand it because, after pregnancy, I have a bad clash with purely synthetic orange essential oils ( the one we can usually find in room fresheners or even in some signature scents - chemically different from the ones used for food ).
Imagine how pleasantly surprised I was when I received this in the mail this morning, expecting a bubblegum fragrance, and that is EXACTLY what I got; the bottled scent of the original tutti frutti Hubba Bubba! For over a year I delayed blind-ordering Velvet Vanilla (it's only available online in NZ's South Island) because it was often compared to L'Interdit and My Way (I'm not a fan of those atomic/shallow/sharp tuberose-centric scents), but I'm glad I finally caved in because I was rewarded with this sweet, slightly creamy/spicy, strong, long-lasting, bubble gum scent... Holy Princess Bubblegum, yum, I'm in love!
