The fragrance opens with a refreshing burst of fizzy citrus, accompanied by a delicate floral undertone. The citrus introduces a bright, effervescent freshness, while the subtle florals provide softness and elegance. The result is a vibrant yet refined opening that feels clean, inviting, and beautifully balanced. At around 15 minutes, the initial citrus begins to soften, allowing the floral accords to become more prominent. The florals are exceptionally smooth and well blended, creating an elegant composition that maintains a touch of the opening's freshness without becoming overly floral. By 30 minutes, the fragrance continues to develop around a combination of soft florals and fading citrus. The floral character remains at the forefront, while the diminishing citrus adds just enough brightness to keep the composition fresh and appealing. At around 60 minutes, the fragrance takes a warmer and more sophisticated direction, revealing a slightly boozy vanilla accord, complemented by amber and woody undertones. A delicate floral musk lingers in the background, introducing softness and creating an appealing contrast to the richer, warmer notes.

Two years ago, this was the second scent I bought after getting into this hobby. After smelling hundreds (probably thousands) of scents and buying a hundred, I returned to the beginning. In my memory, I loved this fragrance. It garnered compliments, and to be honest, this is probably my most complimented scent. Obviously, it's not as good as Amouage Black Iris, or Grand Soir, or even Explicit Vanille by Mancera itself, but it has something no other fragrance has. And as it has aged, it has grown in its smoothness. It's the smell of fizz and energy mixed with a sugary saffron blend. It's a contrast of sweet and thick with fizzy and light, and the way it smells in the air when worn obviously does something right. Objectively a good frag, amazing for the price. Not the level of some frags 2x-4x its price, but ironically this will give you more compliments than anything in my collection. Side note: performance is insane, and reviews complaining about it are 100% going nose blind. When oversprayed, I also seem to not be able to smell it at all, but if I do the usual 2 sprays, it's a 10-hour scent.

A few months ago I had done some research on beast-mode fragrances that would perform really well. This was one of them. It so happened that my one friend had a bottle of this he barely used. I bought it off of him for a steal and I must say, the experts don't lie. A lot of what people say is very true for this. Very beautiful, yet powerful scent. I find it to be very alluring and one of my favorites in my collection right now. I honestly do 1-2 sprays of this as it is rather strong to say the least. This really can work out well both at day and night in my opinion, with a favor towards the colder/cooler months of the year. This really can and will get you compliments while wearing it. One of the few bottles I've owned to ever warrant a compliment, so that says a lot. I would say definitely go for this if you're looking for something that can last awhile, while using little of the fragrance each time (will definitely last me years for sure).

I haven’t tried MFK Baccarat rouge but this is really, really good. One of my favourite scents of all time. I don’t know why but this is so addictive. I don’t get any sort of synthetic smell from it like many reviews say. For me it’s this creamy saffron with a little bit of citruses in the beginning. Then it transforms into this beautiful sweet vanilla and maybe amber? fragrance. Probably the creamiest drydown ever. Super good, very unisex. Will get you a lot of compliments. My first niche I’ve owned and it’s great. For the price this is a bargain. And it performs too! For me about 10-12 hours. I would say blind buy safe if you enjoy sweet vanilla scents.

This is a very pretty fragrance - I saw that someone described it as smelling like a perfume counter, and I can see that, though I don't think that's a negative. I don't think it is a direct dupe for BR540 - more like a cousin, and that is mostly due to the saffron. This is one to be careful spraying - it projects like crazy and lasts quite a while. For the price, if you like the profile, I think it's fabulous. Definitely a cozy cold weather fragrance. For what it's worth, I do think it is VERY similar to Me by Snif. One of the most decidedly unisex fragrances I've ever smelled.
