Musk Therapy

I fell in love with the opening of Valaya Exclusif .. Just the opening. Unfortunately, the dry down turns a bit cologne-y on my skin which isn't something I enjoy. I was searching for a fragrance that kept that beautiful opening without that sharp woody crash, and hit the jackpot with Musk Therapy!!! It smells incredibly close to VE's opening and the dry down is a gorgeous, slightly floral, very smooth skin scent. The longevity is phenomenal; I sprayed it on my skin and clothes at 8 AM and could still catch whiffs of it at 6 AM the next morning. It’s not loud or overwhelming. It’s a soft but incredibly persistent scent. If you like to layer fragrances, I find MT would be incredible and safe to layer with other fragrances. LOOOOVEEEE!

A bright burst of of citrus on immediate opening is probably not as as one would expect with a name such as this, however this settles down after the first half hour into the most comforting fragrance you could hope to have on your skin. It's like a big, confident, calming blanket around your entire body and people love this fragrance when they're up close. The longer you wear it the better it gets. An absolute winner and my favourite now out of the bunch of the top 8 Initio's I have in my inventory. They are the top ones as they sell more than the others for a reason as they are mass appealing and I'm not always a sucker for popularity but with this house, they are really good and this is now the best to my nose.

Musk Therapy by Initio is a beautiful, clean smelling fragrance built around white musk, bergamot, mandarin and a creamy sandalwood accord. The combination of fresh citrus, soft musk and cashmere wood gives it that freshly showered, clean-laundry feel without smelling overly soapy. This is about as non-offensive as fragrances get. Mass appealing, versatile and suitable for pretty much any occasion, it's a genuine dumb reach for me. It's the kind of fragrance I'd happily recommend to almost anyone, regardless of their taste in perfumery. Sillage and longevity are moderate, but I don't necessarily see that as a negative for a fragrance of this style. An easy recommendation and an easy 8/10 for me.

Musky creamy white floral with a smidge of citrus. Smells like clean laundry, creamy coconut lotion, and sweet sandalwood oil. Like most Initio I've tried it doesn't develop very much but smells great. the projection is good (especially for a clean scent) and long lasting (7hrs on skin) its got enough sweetness to pull off warm evenings, but clean and fresh enough to wear on hot days. used in moderation it could even work at the office. Sometimes I do get little whiffs of key lime pie from my skin as it dries down. I don't like key lime pie. otherwise this is a great freshy with warm creamy edge.

This scent is absolutely intoxicating and far more complex than I expected. It begins clean, bright, and almost soapy, then transforms beautifully on my skin. The white and pink musks blend with magnolia and creamy sandalwood, gradually developing into something soft and vanilla like before taking on an unexpected hint of warm chocolate and spice. Those are not officially listed notes, but that is exactly how the fragrance unfolds on me. It is smooth, velvety, and constantly evolving. I am completely obsessed. If you are a musk lover, this is a must have in your collection.
