Pacific Rock Moss

Please disregard the "generic, classic fresh" kinda comments. I genuinely don't understand where that's coming from. This is not generic at all. The opening is heavenly aromatic; it immediately transports your mind to a beautiful beach, putting you in the mood of sipping a fruity cocktail while lounging on a sunbed. However, once the opening fades after about 10–15 minutes, although some traces linger, the drydown becomes quite monotonous and underwhelming. As much as I was blown away by the opening, I wouldn't have bought this without a really good discount because I plan to get Loumari Porthole or Pacific Chill for this summer.

opening is like a lime salty rocky breeze. some nice green freshness with oceanic aquatic heart. very nice freshness with a lift. drinking a mojito near the water. the sage starts to come through in the middle, but it does not overpower anything. drydown is this citric, mossy, misty aquatic rocky scent with aromatic florals and clean white musk. Like a waterfall. unisex, leaning masculine and versatile, think this would perform well in the summer, with longevity. very beautiful and crisp. highly likeable and balanced. optimistic and happy, full of life

Love the scent. Its a fresh aquatic that I fell in love with on first smell. But gosh golly it doesn't last even 30 minutes. I spray it on skin, clothes, like 5-6 times and it still doesn't last. You need to constantly apply. I don't understand the comments that say it last on some people's skin and not others. That doesn't make sense to me. Unless they are adding some kind of moisturizer initially on their skin and the lipids in the moisturizer are holding on to the scent, I don't know how it could last for some and not others.

I got the discovery set after being given a dupe of pacific rock moss. It's still the one I like the best in the set, saltier on my skin, than the dupe I think. Maybe I'm too unsophisticated with perfumes but I found most of the others just a bit generic and not as good as my expectations. Sunset hour was cute. I love the Australian branding almost more than the perfumes. I'd like to try the newer ones as I'm sure they make one that I would die for. I'll definitely continue to use Rock moss a lot.

Opening is beautiful; a lemon not too sweet or sour, a fresh ocean breeze. The drydown for me is almost just a touch too salty in the first two hours, but then it starts to even out. It smells absolutely perfect when you're outside in the sun with a slight breeze. Something about it is also especially calming at night, and reminiscent of warm summer evenings. The drydown is like finally laying in bed after a soothing shower, having spent the whole day in the sun and ocean. 10/10 summer fragrance.
