Layton Exclusif Tester

Layton Exclusif is a masterpiece. An exceptionally complex and well blended perfume, masterfully crafted to the perfection. I smell green blue watery notes of the top, velvety almond/cardamom nutty scent throughout the life time of the scent, a woody/leathery animalic base that comes and goes in waves and an ever present chypre style scent. The animalic notes are more prevalent in warmer weather, so if yo don't want to deal with that, use this perfume in colder weather. The rose note is very sublime and i've been able to distinguish it in very few moments, in more humid environment. The coffee note I think contributes to nutty accords, maybe in a few moments I was able to smell it by itself. It has a mouthwatering accord that is ever present specially on the top notes. Layton Exclusif unlike other PDMs, doesn't leave a long vanilla base drydown, the woody and animalic drydown disappear at some point, in my experience within 24 hours, on skin. On the clothes it lives for couple of days and even slightly projects, you notice when you pick up the clothes couple of days later.

LOVEEEEEE IT. Blind bought and no regrets, my first ever Pdm lol. Entry is light greenish fresh rose, with apple and citruses... it evolves into sandalwood coffee lavender oud cinnamon (gourmand cinnamon not sweet), dark, very sexy scent. Wore it and instantly got a making out seshion from a girl and a confession of love so i dont know if its the reason or just the cherry on top but it shows that women love it. Its very mature, not blind buy safe bcs not everyone will like it but i love it, my fav fragrance by a LANDSLIDE. Performance beast, 12h+ (!) on skin, projects HEAVILY. Bottle and box are magnificent, not the crazuest presentation but i still like it a lot (like Tom Ford/Older Xerjoffs) Bottle is so peak, the cap is heavy and the bottle color is a beauty. Would reccomend heavily

man, the first time i smelled Layton Exclusif, images of Joan d Arc walking around in some French Countryside mossy and woodsy Castle eating green apple at the same time came like a flash in my mind, probably bc of the bottle but i fell in love immediately, there’s something noble and modern that reminds me of this duality the “Bright” soul of Joan d Arc with this “Noble-Retrograde” society that was the medieval french at the time, longevity was really good in my skin 8hrs in my case and in clothes 12+ my fav PDM without a doubt.

Been eyeing this one for a few months now and pulled the trigger today. Much better than regular Layton… This has way more depth and projects like a beast. Bought an 4.2 for $225 and worth every penny. I think the hate comes from the civet note but to me it gives a lot of radiance and warmth to the florals. All in all 10/10 fragrance and no one will smell like you.

Apparently there are over 400 different kinds of genetic scent profiles a person can have. Within those, variations are endless. Whichever one I have, I love this fragrance. It's my favorite fragrance of all time. I don't find it polarizing but could see how it might act that way for some. It works well with my skin. It's not mass appealing like the original but I'm fine wearing this any chance I get. Unfortunately I can only wear a few months out of the year because of the hot weather I'm in.
