The opening is this super realistic mint with lemon in the background, at first it reminded me a bit of toilet cleaner tbh. But after a few wears i got kinda used to it and now i like it, definitely a summer only scent in my opinion. Something to wear on a really hot day with no clouds in the sky, a really nice refreshing scent to smell that projects very strongly the first 2-3h on my skin. Drydown is where it shines the most in my opinion, a nice inviting fresh spicy floral scent that just smells really really good, overall longevity on my skin is about 8 hours with the first 5h projecting moderately. I blind bought this which i do not regret but i would definitely not recommend doing this unless you really really like realistic mint/lemon scents. A bit overpriced imo but definitely one of the best summer scents if not the best summer scent from xerjoff.

This smells like refreshing ice cold diet grass clippings. It's very green, but pleasant and bright. It's fresher than Diptyque's Philosykos, which screams nostalgic over grown meadow at dusk with fire flies. Philosykos screams GRASS. Torino 21 is more like Fragrant Botanicals Lite* or Shrubbery Zero. If Torino 21 were to choose a partner, I think it would be very well suited with Jo Malone's Wild Bluebell. Torino 21 is definitely more gender neutral than Wild Bluebell and has a less aquatic accord, but they both still have that icy herbal beverage feel; where Torino is more 0 calorie botanical drink and Wild Blue Bell is some kind of melon citrus infused water.
I am usually hesitant to try lemon and mint scents for fear of associating the fragrance with cleaning products or toothpaste but I am so glad I gave Torino 21 a chance. After trying a sample, I immediately fell in love with it and bought a full bottle. This contains the most realistic lemon and mint notes I have ever smelled. I find the scent super fresh, light, and airy. Despite it being a freshie, I get amazing sillage and longevity on my skin. This is an attention getter without being loud and demanding. Best for spring and summer but I find it so uplifting I wear it year round. This is my favourite bottle in the Torino line.
Blind bought Torino 21. I would never recommend blind buying anything over $200, but I did. Didn’t like the opening at all. Wasn’t the fragrance, it was all on me. I’m use to sweet, woody, musky and blue. Heavy citrus and mint hit me in all the wrong ways. I put the bottle back in its superb packaging and set it aside, washing off my wrist, the only place I sprayed it. But today I decided to give it another chance, doing a full 5 sprays. After dry down it was quite pleasant and very fresh. Totally changed my mind about it. I can now see why it’s gets all the hype.
Torino21 surprised me in a great way. It starts fresh and smooth, reminding me of crushed leaves and clean air. Right away, I notice jasmine and lavender, which add a floral touch that’s noticeable but not overly feminine. The mint brings a clean, leafy scent—nothing like toothpaste—and blends well with basil and thyme. This makes it smell clean, herbal, and surprisingly high-quality from the first spray. What impressed me most is how steady it stays; twenty minutes later, it’s still just as good, only slightly more floral and polished.
