Le Beau Paradise Garden

This is my one and only JPG so far. JPG is not a house I really like a lot from. Most of, if not all of their stuff is too sweet for me. I say this as a Paco Rabanne fan ironically lol. Paradise Garden is no different. It’s very sweet. As my bottle sits in my shelf I feel it’s gotten sweeter and more powerful as well. While this makes it less wearable for me personally I still think this is my favorite scent from the brand, and I do love it. The coconut is not too lactonic, the fig is deeply sweet, I absolutely LOVE the salt note in the background. The opening is fresh, green, cool, and aquatic. The base of tonka and sandalwood is extremely well done imo, it makes the overly sweet mid worth sitting through because I love the base so much and it’s one of my favorite executions of tonka and sandalwood in any fragrance I’ve smelled so far. It feels like a deep tropical jungle in a bottle. If it was only a little less sweet I would be able to wear it more during the warmer months as this type of scent is usually suppose to be. It lasts forever on my clothes, a long time in skin, projects pretty heavily at first and then the base comes through strong enough to be detected before finally dipping out. Overall a well done fragrance, not always what I want to grab especially in warmer months but eveytime I wear it I am reminded why it’s so good. 7.5/10

Comes out of the bottle with a blast of fresh pineapple but then quickly becomes fairly greenish and aromatic, even cosy. Right after a gentle floral scent sets in with a tiny hint of soapiness in the background. Definitely grounded in nature somewhere and, compared to the first two Le Beaus the most mature and masculine of them all. The slight earthiness makes this a purely male fragrance. The typical JPG DNA is somewhere there in the distance, and the Le Beau DNA is also there, just far more in the distance. Overall, definitely a garden scent - one that is aromatic, playful, young. Wearable during the day and also in the evening, not necessarily in the office but also possible if not oversprayed. In my opinion, the best Le Beau so far and a good addition to the entire lineup.

In my opinion, this is the best JPG fragrance oat (Not counting privated line, not smelled any fragrance yet).This fragrance last to me 7-8 hours on skin, wich is very acceptable, but in clothes, it even last me more than 24 hours. This fragrance isn't that sweet for winter, but isn't that fresh for summer; Entry notes are very fresh, specially the mint, green notes and water note. But in the middle notes, the coconut and vanilla makes it too sweet for summer, but I don't feel it suffocates me. The best thing in this fragrance is absolutely the green notes and the mint notes at the entry notes, but I also like the coconut notes here, I'm not a huge fan of coconut in Le Beau fragrances, but this one is very nice.

Even though I'm not a lover of sweet perfumes, I have to admit i really love this one. At first it reminds me of some type of sunbathing oil, not a chemical sunscreen, i think it’s because of the strong presence of coconut and tonka bean, their combination is sweet but elegant. Green and aquatic notes tie it together nicely, making the fragrance balanced and fresh. I would say it’s THE smell of sweet, tropical vacation: sunbathing next to the sea, coconut trees nearby and a sweet, fruit drink in my hand. It dries down more masculine, i get the salt, sandalwood and even some spice that wasn’t there before. However, it doesn’t bother me that much as a unisex perfume enjoyer.

Jean Paul Gaultier’s Le Beau Paradise Garden smells like a tropical escape with a sharp, green edge at the beginning. It opens with refreshing coconut water, then green fig gives it a leafy sweetness that keeps the scent lively. As it settles, the sandalwood adds a smooth, warm finish. A hint of sea salt can also be noticed. For me the drydown smells like vanilla despite not being listed in the notes. The result is playful and distinctive - fresh enough for a sunny afternoon, yet rich enough for an evening out. The longevity and sillage are to die for. On my skin it stays for 12+ hours and on my clothes from a few days to up to a week!
