Acqua Di Gio Parfum

The fragrance opens with a refreshing rush of aquatic freshness and luminous citrus, immediately evoking the sensation of cool air drifting across open water. Beneath that marine brightness rests a subtle tapestry of aromatic herbs and crisp green accords, adding a natural, almost windswept quality to the composition. The opening feels clean, airy, and invigorating—a fragrance painted in shades of blue and green. At around the 15-minute mark, the aquatic and marine character remains firmly at the heart of the fragrance, accompanied by those lingering herbal and green nuances. The citrus, however, begins to retreat quickly, fading into little more than a delicate trace in the background. What remains feels increasingly aromatic and botanical, as though the sparkling citrus of the opening has disappeared beyond the horizon, leaving behind cool ocean air, crushed greenery, and aromatic herbs. By 30 minutes, the fragrance begins to move away from its distinctly marine opening. The aquatic notes continue to linger, but their presence has softened considerably, allowing the aromatic herbal character to move forward. There is still a subtle watery freshness woven through the composition, but it now serves more as atmosphere than centerpiece. At this stage, the fragrance feels quieter and more grounded—fresh herbs carried on a coastal breeze, with the distant memory of saltwater still clinging to the air.

So easy to grab and wear. I have it as one of my favorite scents because I do love it and wear it often. Definitely one of my most complimented fragrances by women. Aventus is probably number one. It is such a good blend of clean and light incense/patchouli. Masculine and mature any occasion any time. I get it, if this isn't your jam, but it delivers in so many ways as a modern fragrance. It is not exotic, to some, "boring". I will always wear it, I have multiple bottles/refills. As a Profumo lover, this still gets you close, certainly better than any clone/dupe. Not sure how many reviews I have left, I know its' a few. So easy to test as it is in every store, but I do suggest getting it on skin and walking around for while. I have seen some complaints about longevity, it is right up there with any other mass appealing fragrance, no worse. I can smell it throughout the entire day from only applying in the morning. I am smelling it right now as I write this, which is why I am writing this.

An amazing all-year-rounder. I know that most of these votes were before the changes so it makes sense spring and summer have the most votes but I have the new version and it's way more versatile. I can see myself wearing this to any kind of event any time. I probably wouldn't make this my daily as a twenty-year-old. But depending on your style or the occasion this can be a really great pick. To be honest, it's not my favourite at the opening because it feels a little too salty or spicy, but after like 30 minutes it becomes a good quality mix of its notes. Definitely closer to profumo after the changes and once you start liking it you find yourself reaching for this all year.

This fragrance has really grown on me, it is an incredibly Masculine-Fresh scent that gives me that confident sharp and clean feeling whenever wearing it. This fragrance is for men. Diffinitely gives a more Mature vibe. The performance is decent for a fresh scent, i find myself spraying ~6 sprays and getting around 2-3 hours of strong projection and then around hour 4-5 a skin/moderate projection. Absolutely wonderful scent, it has mastered the basics of a fresh summer fragrance and therefor become perfection in a bottle. Having smelled both, i absolutely recommend the 2024 batch over the 2023 as i didnt enjoy the 2023 at all.

Beautiful and versatile scent. Super well-blended citrus, marine, floral, and aromatic notes with some added resinous depth and richness. Fresh enough for hot weather but totally wearable year round day or night. Very solid longevity. Safe for any setting but still interesting and compliment-getting. There are enough ADG flankers that some are redundant and only a completist needs them all., so sample first and choose the one you like best. I got the 2024 parfum release (with the magnetic cap) and it's a wonderful take on the classic DNA. Truly good stuff right here.
