John Varvatos Artisan Pure is a crisp Citrus scent designed for men. Noted perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux crafted this unique 2017 scent, perfect for any season.
John Varvatos Artisan Pure EDT:
- Top notes are Clementine, Mandarin Orange, Lemon, Bergamot, Thyme and Marjoram;
- middle notes are Petitgrain and Ginger;
- base notes are Woody Notes, Musk, Orris Root and Amber
The opening of Artisan Pure is bright and fresh, with dominant notes of petitgrain and bergamot. A juicy mandarin or clementine note adds complexity, making it feel modern yet timeless.
Then, As it develops, the green character fades, allowing bergamot to take the lead, with a hint of white floral and clean musks. The fragrance softens into a semi-sweet, semi-floral, semi-citrus lemongrass base, with a warm kiss of amber.
Longevity is fair for a citrus fragrance, projecting for a couple of hours before becoming a skin scent.
