It would be a dishonor to juxtapose this scent to other rose-based perfumes, because this scent is regal. I picture myself walking in a palace rose garden while the smell of baked sweet tarts emanate from the kitchen whenever I wear this scent. It’s tangy and sweet, and the rose is creamy, although noticeably synthetic. It performs well and lingers for more than a day on clothes. It’s an absolute compliment magnet. It can withstand the heat without turning pungent, but it’s at its finest during cooler temperatures. It maybe linear, but it’s already great from the beginning so I don’t see any problems with that.

This is a gorgeous rose fragrance. The vanilla is certainly there but there’s also a stark chocolate accord that I pick up on. It definitely differs from Mancera Roses Greedy which is a straight rose beauty. I smell this mainly when moving, which is nice so I’m not being overwhelmed with scent all day nor going nose blind to it. Don’t and haven’t picked up on the lemon nor the cedar notes, but that is fine for me. It’s certainly a well done blend and very sexy scent.
Its composition brings together Calabrian lemon, roses, vanilla, cedarwood, and white musk, along with a Turkish Delight accord (a traditional confection with a soft, jelly-like texture, similar to a gummy candy, often flavored with rosewater and lemon). It is a fragrance that explores the combination of roses and vanilla through a sugary approach yet offers more freshness and versatility than its olfactory pyramid might suggest.
To my nose, this is is a lite version of Arabians Tonka, but instead of beeswax, you get a sugary, humid, sticky honey scent. Think of the smell of crystalized honey with an exceptionally well-blended rose note that never becomes realistic but somehow it works. I can't seem to smell this very well, but I think that's a me thing. I am hoping it will become more potent after it matures/oxidizes. I will come back and update.
What???!!!!??? Wait, this is Atomic Rose and its ilk. I’m just doing a random sample grab. It’s more nose scorching chemical but not by much. Huh. In fact there’s almost a weird minty herby note that I actually like. I often think that perfumers get together in the lab corridors and make up notes that are suggested by various synergies of chemicals, like ‘lemon’. Can’t blame them, I’d do it😄…
