Mancera Holidays does it for me. A lot of people complain about the syntheticness of it but I think that's part of why I like it it smells exactly like sunscreen or tanning lotion but all grown up. it's the quintessential summer perfume. Sunscreen or tanning lotion, and baking in the sun on the beach. The sea note is what really brings this fragrance to life in my opinion because it's reminiscent of the smell of salt, the ocean, and warm, sun-kissed skin. It has it all, the star of the show of course - coconut, tropical flowers (tiare), ylang, vanilla, and sea notes as well as other notes like sandal wood and musk that just really round out the fragrance as a whole. The bergamot in the opening adds a freshness and brightness to the coconut that prevents it from being sickly sweet, which to me helps it feel less synthetic overall and the ylang in the mid helps with the same thing. As I mentioned before this is why for me personally Holidays will always be my go to for the summer months because it has that familiar coppertone smell but a grown up classy version of it, if there could ever be such a thing Holidays is it. Oh and did I mention the lasting power of this perfume?! It lasts forever on clothes and on the skin I get a good 8 hours. Sillage is nuclear. Near the end it becomes a beautifully sweet, yet not cloying, tropical skin scent.

Mancera’s Holidays is an amazing fragrance perfect for summertimes. It has a very heavy coconut opening, with an amazing dry down of vanilla and a bit of flowers. Holidays is a unisex fragrance yet may lie just a bit feminine which is why I don’t tend to reach for this scent. It’s actually more of a scent my mother uses for the summer rather than myself yet I still do like this fragrance. It seems like a different yet perfect summer fragrance. It’s not your typical soapy aquatic take, it’s more of that tropical vibe which is different to what the ordinary person wears during the summer time. Whenever I wear this I do standout and in a good way attracting many compliments with that beutiful coconut note. It projects really well, surprisingly good for a summer fragrance and has insane longevity. I do think that it’s good for its value, it’s different, powerful and well priced. I do recommend to get this scent, one of the few niche perfumes that is amazing for the summertime by going down that tropical scent route.
Both my boyfriend and I wear this, and honestly, I think it smells way better on him. On his skin it really gives off that dreamy beachy vibe . On me, it leans just a touch more synthetic, which makes it slightly less magical. In comparison to something like Tom Ford Eau de Soleil Blanc or Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess, those two definitely come across as more sophisticated and polished. Holidays falls into the same “beachy summer fragrance” category, but in a more straightforward, less nuanced way. That being said, it’s still a very nice fragrance, and I’d say it’s a safe blind buy if you’re into tropical scents. It might not be the most refined in this genre, but it captures the easygoing summer mood really well.
I have a full size bottle of Coco Vanille and a sample of Holidays. They totally are similar enough so that I don't need both. I prefer Coco Vanille because it's sweeter and more femimine. Holidays is fresher. As a woman into feminine scents I don't agree with this leaning really femimine. I don't smell any salty notes on paper but on skin I smell them and the saltiness throws me off sometimes. I do still like it but I would mainly wear something like this for running errands or working out. If I want to feel pretty like I usually want, I would wear Coco Vanille.
To the guy below who said it's not a men fragrance, listen mate i gotta be honest with you my girlfriend loves the scent, let me give you some advice... if a girl notices you because of the smell it's just the first step, you have to follow the game and try to play with her a little not chicken out like a scared cat, be confident dude, girls don't like scared cats, you smell amazing. yo should have respondend something like: "you should try smell it better, come closer.... see told you it was good." DON'T BLAME IT ON THE PARFUM CHICKEN !
