Club De Nuit Intense Man Limited Edition

This is potent and very good. When I tested on paper a little over a month ago the top notes didn't show. Since this is notorious for needing extra time I exercised some patience and was rewarded because it's freaking amazing; I own a lot of different interpretations of the DNA and this is right up there as the most pleasing to my nose. The original EDT and to a lesser extent the EDP were known for a harsh Armaf lemon cleaner vibe that the Limited Edition Parfum fixes, but otherwise they'll be redundant if you already own one. The lemon is immediately toned down by a sweeter, juicier pineapple and bergamot blend in this flanker. In the heart smoky birch is the prominent note with florals subtly blended in to smooth out the edges. The base settles into a warm mix of vanilla, ambery musky patchouli, and a touch of leather. I can't imagine needing to purchase any more Aventus inspirations for the rest of my life with the number I currently have and the size of my collection, but I've very pleased with CDNIM LE Parfum and would consider repurchasing if I ever run out.

Sure, I'll comment on it. The Spongebob cologne is a silly anomaly that has gotten grossly exaggerated reviews simply for the sport of it. It's a novelty mostly purchased for the silliness factor much like the Big Mouth Billy Bass you've likely got mounted to the wall of your doublewide. Did you not notice that >95% of folks who reviewed it exaggerated the longevity and sillage to the most extreme? They're not honest ratings about the swill inside. Read the reviews for it and you'll see it's considered a joke. Do you honestly think that "Eternal Longevity" and "Enormous Sillage" are accurate? I'm guessing you missed school the day that irony and sarcasm were being discussed.

I bought it in 2022, and at first smell it didn't get me, I wanted to return it. It is very powerful so I wasn't confident wearing it as I knew people would smell me at a distance and it can be overpowering. After wearing it for a few weeks, it grew on me so much that I became more confident with it. It is so powerful, masculine, and I receive compliments. Actually, for a non-sweet scent, this is a compliment monster. It is a shame that the price increased that much, I've got a Montblanc explorer thinking it would be similar, but although it is also a good scent, it doesn't have the power and smokiness of this limited edition.

I'd like to preface my review by saying that I have never smelled Creed Aventus, therefore I am not rating this as a clone fragrance because I do not have the OG for reference. This is a nice, masculine scent. However, I'm not sure it is really worth the hype. I think a lot of the excitement this receives is built on its similarity to a fragrance that is significantly more expensive, but I may just not be super drawn to this DNA. It's nice, I definitely get a musky citrus and woody flavor, but it doesn't smell especially fresh to me. I may appreciate this scent better when the weather gets cooler.

Excellent value and a seriously strong performer. The opening can be quite sharp and synthetic, but once it settles it becomes much smoother, with smoky woods, citrus and that familiar Aventus-style character. The Limited Edition is definitely my preferred version, as it feels more refined and better blended. Projection and longevity are excellent and it gets noticed. It doesn’t have the quality or polish of something like Absolu Aventus, but for the money it’s difficult to argue with. A great fragrance when I want something bold without worrying about how much I’m spraying.
