Erba Pura

creamy indecipherable fruit salad sunscreen powdery cream type scent. this isnt that sweet. i dont really get citrus but more like melon, pear, peach, and maybe even some coconut and banana. warm amber base with undertones of vanilla and clean musk. has density and quite nice. summer only or beach/coastal vibes in sunny days. quite balanced and well made, not complex or challenging, but type of scent i'd wear at the beach. long-lasting, solid projection but not one to wear in the office or intimate settings. the thing is its not sweetness that has the power here its the cream-quality that does. i would say this is unisex, especially if worn in high heat/summer or coastal. Perhaps leans feminine if in a more urban setting. more luxury sunny vibes rather than artistic complexity, albeit still niche and very well made. i like it

Didn’t try it because of the hype and many bad reviews till last year when I was on holiday in Spain. Somebody passed me and I was mesmerised by the sillage. I followed the trail into a restaurant and found the wearer. Once I heard it was Erba Pura I was dumbfounded. Went to try it myself and fortunately my skin loved it too. Citrus, fruits and musk in the best possible way (on my skin). Many compliments even from my fellows fragheads and when I tell them it’s Erba Pura they say that it’s not possible; Erba Pura doesn’t smell like that! Just try it on skin and see if it works and if you like it. Don’t follow negative reviews without trying it yourself. I’m a difficult learner since I had the same prejudice with other fragrances.

The very second you press the atomizer, a massive wave of sweet, juicy Mediterranean fruits engulfs your senses. It immediately transports you to a vibrant Italian orchard at the peak of summer. The bright citrus blend of Sicilian orange and lemon quickly melts into a lush, fluffy white musk and Madagascar vanilla base. From a manufacturer's perspective, the way this extreme fruity sweetness is anchored by such a dense amber-musk accord is truly remarkable. It is loud, joyful, and completely unapologetic. When you walk down the street, this fragrance doesn't just trail behind you; it announces your arrival and lingers in the air long after you've left.

This is a great light scent. Fresh. Not as fruity as I would have expected from reading reviews and descriptions. Its also not as feminine as voted. However, it is slightly feminine so I wouldn't really want a full bottle to wear all the time maybe certain occasions I can see wearing it casually on a warm day. Very smooth I am going to try Erba gold to see if I like it better because I can totally see why people like this scent. You don't smell fruity. You smell light, fresh, and maybe fruity. You are either fruity or you are not fruity when you wear this.

It immediately transported me back to my childhood in Mexico, reminiscent of visits to the local market where I would buy fresh, diced fruit drizzled with lime. This joyful memory was vibrant in the opening notes. Within about five minutes, the citrus notes dissipate, and they’re beautifully complemented by a smooth vanilla that emerges alongside the fruit.
