God Of Fire Tester

First it was a decant. Did not see myself buying a-quite expensive-summer fragrance at the end of summer and did not trust the hype. First smell and I m like oh wow! A burst of mango, juicy, tropical, sweet but not gourmand, not synthetic, playful but not childish, sensual, and a tad photorealistic, elevated my mood instantly. In short, an exquisite sweet-ish tropical scent. However something deeper lies beneath the fresh mangos, like an oceanic vibe. Lasts a whole day or more on skin, with more than moderate projection. You don't have to be necessarily passionate over mangos(I m not for example) but rather for fruity tropical scents to love it. While it is the protagonist, this perfume is not a result deriving from a single scent note. All in all, i finished the decant within 3 days and the next day bought the perfume. In 40degrees (Greece), working, and I m immediately transfered to an exotic paradise. The only problem is that I need to stop wearing it, so that I will not need another one prior to next summer!

Sweet creamy mango, like a Mango Gelati frozen dessert. Half Italian shaved ice and half frozen vanilla custard. Honestly an intoxicating, addicting scent.. I can’t stop smelling my hand where I sprayed to test it. It’s pretty loud and playful.. I could see this becoming a little cloying in enclosed spaces or on a hot day. I wouldn’t say it’s fresh.. despite being very fruity. It’s got a thickness that wouldn’t mix well on a hot day, in my opinion. It kind of reminds me of 1 Million Lucky, just replace the Plum and Grapefruit with Mango/Red berries. This does lean feminine to me, which is a bummer because it smells so damn good! I personally would not wear it, but if I was on a date with a female and this was her scent of the evening, I would be ecstatic!! Men could definitely rock this fragrance, it’s just not for me.

Holy cow this is good, and by good I mean amazing. This is mango done to perfection with very high quality ingredients and blending, and it is not linear at all. It’s not too loud or overly synthetic in any way which fragrances like this tend to be. It’s got some sweetness to it but is never cloying. It goes through phases from the opening through the drydown keeping it interesting and never tiresome to wear. The supporting notes are dialed in just right to make the mango shine and honestly it’s one of the best tropical smells I’ve ever experienced. Just a superbly crafted fragrance that deserves every bit of hype it gets. I’m even complimenting myself over here it’s that good. If you know you enjoy the scent of mango then I would consider this blind buy safe. Absolutely in love with God of Fire 🔥🥭😍

Very unique option. Sure, there are several mango fragrances, but there is something special about this one. Maybe the ginger in the opening or the oud in the dry down; regardless, it’s a really special fragrance. It’s not something I will reach for daily, but it just so uplifting on the days that I do. The mix of mango, ginger and other fruits is done to perfection. I do get quite a bit of jasmine, maybe it’s the jasmine that give it a subtle creaminess. I find the fragrance unisex and maybe the cedar and oud keep it from going to femme. Now that it’s finding discounters, it’s reasonably priced. Perfect for spring and summer and can be day or evening. Rating 8.5/10.
