Acqua Di Parma帕爾瑪之水/帕爾馬之水 Oud EDP is a luxurious fragrance with a strong presence of oud and warm amber woody notes. First notes of orange and Calabrian bergamot give way to a heart of oud, amyris, and coriander, finished with a base of leather, sandalwood, musk, cedar, and patchouli. Engaging and long-lasting, this scent is perfect for the modern day fragrance aficionado.

Top notes are Orange and Calabrian bergamot;

middle notes are Agarwood (Oud), Amyris and Coriander;

base notes are Leather, Sandalwood, Musk, Cedar and Patchouli.

This has the most authentic "bandaids" oud of probably any of the designer options without getting into a skanky oud vibe underneath. There are many available... ie Versace Oud Noir that are mass appealing and non skanky, but lack that authentic bandaids vibe that this has. I bring up the Versace as this one has the same up close projection, but as the Versace gets compared to Oud Wood, this one I believe actually has some real oud in it, whereas the Versace likely does not IMO. In this case, it's a sort of stewed plum bandaids vibe as opposed to a black cherry bandaids vibe that some have. There is that distinctive light medicinal undertone, without any skank factor. This ADP is very well blended IMO. This is the only oud fragrance of all that I have tried, that I am keeping a full bottle of. Living in South Florida, I don't wear it much, but this is the one I am keeping. But that's me. I lean toward the fresher lighter fragrances across the board. As with all oud fragrances sold to be worn in the West, try it first before buying it. But it's truly exceptional for what it is. It's an Acqua di Parma, so it's not made to be a projection beast. More an early Spring and Fall scent. I will add, the atomizer on this and this brand in general is superb. It atomizes so well you probably won't feel it much going on.

Where should I start, as the fragrance enthusiast I really appreciate this jewel. This isn't harsh, isn't loud, you almost do not smell individual notes (especially as it dries down). It is so sophisticated and blended to perfection. The opening is very bright but after 15 minutes becomes oudy but in a clean way, then after 30 minutes coriander starts mixing with oud and it becomes a little bit sharp (it is the only part where the fragrance feels sharp and where you can smell individual notes, the rest is perfectly blended so you get one rounded tone). After one hour mark it becomes more and more creamy and that sandalwood and musk comes out with that rich complex oud backbone. Silage is quiet soft especially after one hour, you get whiffs in the air through out a day, very gentle, not loud at all, so it can be summer scent but not in extreme heat when only citrus and aquatics work. As for longevity it is very good, at least 7h on my skin in the heat and my skin chemistry eats fragrance. To summarize this is another 1010 in my collection, I do love louder fragrance but this one for what it is and the legacy of the Acqua di Parma is just an art piece and it is just prefect.

The review below mine kind of sums it up perfectly. I tried Oud a few months ago in store and I liked it, a smooth and well blended citruses and oud fragrance. I just bought a bottle last Friday and I'm not liking this too much if I'm honest. The oud and citruses are there during the opening minutes (literally), but overall I just get an excessively clean sandalwood with amyris's lactonic resinous characteristic. This also has a strong white florals-like smell, if I didn't know any better I'd believe you if you said this had ylang-ylang and jasmine. In the end this smells like a woodier Reflection Man with "oud" and a smidge of citruses in the opening. The bottle is authentic, batch 0215Y comes out to an early 2025 production date, so this most likely got very heavily reformulated. I'll give this another wear soon to try again but I'm probably just gonna sell this. UPDATE: Tried it in store and it does indeed smell the way it does, I just misremembered what this smelled like. This is why I shouldn't blind buy full bottles. UPDATE #2: It's growing on me a lot after two wears, will see how it goes.

Its a rich, classy and fruity scent- i know the notes are citruses but what i get is a mango-ey passionfruit (which i believe is the citrus?) , leather and oud smell which is lucious and dense. its like something you would smell in the front row of a tennis match at wimbledon or at a formula one race in monaco, high class but accessible. the passion fruit smell slightly transforms with the leather becoming more prominent, which obviously stops it from becoming overtly feminine as the smell becomes more resinous and dark. it is definitely fruit based but 100% masculine, almost as if ombre leather was created with a passion fruit note instead of that metallicnote. the price and value for what you get is worth the money alone, you can get a 150 ml for less than 200 and you only need 2-3 sprays imo. buy it if you like fruity and oud smells, performance and price is worth it alone.

To oud or not oud.....that is ONE of the questions. There are so many iterations of oud. And, usually your first exposure to it is someone who literally bathed in it and then expected the rest of us to survive around them wearing gas masks all day. So, then, you will "not to oud". Avoid. Oy, here they come again...gas mask time...oh no..I'm stuck with them on a plane! Sh*&se. Definitely NOT to oud. Que the angelic savoir choir. Aqua di Parma...you.....well..you. You did it. Finalmente! A perfect oud. Buy it. Wear it. Love it. You will have to shove in your tote or desk drawer for a respritz. Oh, in about two hours or so. Definitely a daily driver. Great for in person interviews (does anyone do those anymore?).
