Jardin Exclusif Tester

This fragrance to my nose is a well rounded fresh, fruity, floral musk that has a soapy salty quality to it on my skin most likely from the jasmine and the Ambroxan mix in the mid. The caramel mentioned in the note breakdown takes a far backseat on my skin but can slightly be detected. The musk in this is absolutely fantastic a clean fresh musk mixed with a slight hints of vanilla and sandalwood. Was a bit nervous as I seen all the reviews saying it leans fem, but thank God to my nose they were all wrong. If anything it’s right down the middle, like a straight line unisex scent. I mean I guess I can see a less confident more insecure guy thinking that it’s fem, but I just don’t get it. This honestly is a very good fragrance. Very versatile can pretty much be worn anywhere at anytime, however in the spring and summer this one will definitely shine! Specially on nights out. I will say go easy on the trigger as it’s extremely potent.

I got this as a sample thinking it might be something I could layer with another perfume for my perfect wedding scent--but after wearing it by itself for a full week, this holds up on its own and needs no companion. I was skeptical about it because I'm not usually drawn to the fresh & fruity notes in perfumes--I typically prefer warm, sweet, boozy gourmands. But this scent surprised me and is incredible. I'm not great yet at identifying all the individual notes of most perfumes--but I absolutely could detect a lot of the notes listed--the initial burst of sweet citrusy fruits that dry down to cozy florals & musk (but still somehow fresh & bright? I don't understand it.) The more I wore it, the more I loved it and the more notes I started to pick up on. This has earned a permanent spot in my collection and while I'd love to use it as my wedding scent, I don't want to wait that long to use it!

The scent begins leaning feminine with the peach and pear combo. It does smell good but it might throw some people off. To me, I get a shampoo vibe. After, I get the rose, musk, caramel, vanilla, and sandalwood that gives it a sweet creamy vibe. I was hesitant when I picked this up because I had bought Instant Crush, used it a few times, and sold it. Although it smells good, I don't think Instant Crush is versatile and it was too sweet for me. The longevity and projection were epic though so it's worth it if you like the scent. To sum up, this is fruity, fresh, soapy, sweet, and creamy. Not too heavy on the sweetness which is fine for me. The thing I love the most is when the wind hits you and you get a whiff of the scent. This lasts over 10 hours and is a strong projector, perfect for early fall, spring, and cooler summer days.

Unisex but pretty much objectively fem leaning in the best way possible. Very sexy. Only "saving grace" in terms of wearability for men is the musk in the base imo. Other than that, this smells like the fragrance of a women-targeted hair care product. It doesn't smell like the product itself, just the very sweet and floral fragrance they add to it. Not a flat fragrance, the florals tend to swirl around the vanilla and caramel, but I wouldn't necessarily say it evolves or changes as it dries down. What you get in the opening is what you get to the end, for the most part. This stuff performs performs performs. I don't think it's a monster projector but I think the performance hits exactly the mark you'd want for any fragrance. You will continue catching real nice wafts of it til the end of the day off just 3 sprays.

This, to me, is definitely Erba Pura. It smells like the other Erba Pura clones/dupes. However, this one is a bit brighter than Bharara King. It's like Jardin Exclusif has that french elegant touch to it. Amber Oud Gold and all the other gold editions and private edition has that distinct arabic touch to it. This one has that french touch. It's bright. It's clean. It's strong. It's hella fruity and hella floral and musky. I always love this dna. I love how Mancera did their thing with this and executed well.
