Aqua Allegoria Nettare Di Sole

A shimmering ode to honeyed magnolia, this fragrance opens with an aquatic, citrusy sparkle of neroli and zesty citrus, clean and radiant yet delightfully clear of soapiness. As it dries, it reveals a soft powderiness entwined with luminous white florals, as if kissed by summer’s golden glow. There’s a whisper of nectarous honey weaving through, this a warm annd ethereal sweetness that feels both grounded and airy all at once. I do find this later, quieter sweetness more delicate than dazzling though, the finish maybe lacking the initial vibrant magic. Still the fragrance remains a tender, golden whisper of summer, and a youthful love letter to those sunlit days.

Solar, aquatic, and soapy. Lightly floral. Thick yet fluffy. Smells primarily like honey and straight up lemon to me. I don’t love the opening; I wouldn’t call it discordant, but it’s not harmonious. I do love it after it warms on my skin for 20 minutes. Even more when I catch a whiff of it many hours later and have to recollect what it was that I put on. I was having trouble nailing down what this reminds me of so much. But it came to me: Tone bar soap. My mom would buy that in the ‘90s. Discontinued now, but remember Tone? If you ever lathered up with it, Nettare Di Sole will bring it back to you. The scent memory is strong with this one.

Okay, so, it is a nice perfume... It has an amazing smell the first 20 minutes or so. And then it just gets sad. And starts to remind me of inexpensive body sprays from brands like Victoria's Secret... The leftover smell is not bad, however it is underwhelming, compared to what the first 20 minutes were like. At first I get a strong whip of bergamot and orange blossom, then it starts to become sweet, and I get magnolia, jasmine, rose and synthetic honey. Sometimes it has notes of nuts, I mean coconut, sweet almonds. It is beautiful. However, in 5 minutes of enjoying that beautiful smell, you are only left with the synthetic honey notes.

A nice fresh slightly powdery bar of soap sweetened with honey but not too sweet (at least on my skin) I’m not sure if it’s the orange blossom or something else but I can swear I feel the same soapy Ceder there is in infusion de cedre by Prada. Not thy same as strength and so on but it has this soapy quality just milder and sweeter. Now imagine you washed your hands with this soap and collected the water but made it fizzy and added citruses and honey in it- that’s the opening of this fragrance. I love it I wish it lasted longer but it’s edt after all. Still a love! Perfect for the summer!

This is a beautiful soft summer fragrance. No musk, think clean linens hung to dry outside, warmed by the sun. To me this has elegant, clean girl vibes. I could see it shining after a day at the beach complemented by salty air and sun warmed skin. The orange blossom scent is soft, not overly sweet. The dry down has an almost masculine touch. Will be trying it out on my husband as the overall affect makes me think of clean laundry, warm, fresh. Does not last long but I can’t wait to where it this summer. Inoffensive and easy to wear.
