Daisy Dream

I like this. The initial spray is a fruity blast of pear and maybe litchi? That's what I smell the most at least. Then as it dries down that's when the sweetness fades and I get the wisteria and musky woods and such. There's also a soapy note in it that I appreciate, could be the musk. Maybe more "lady" soap than "man" soap, but still nice nonetheless. I bought this because wisteria is one of my favorite flowers. The only complaint that I have is the pear note in it. I don't care much for it, or things in general that are too sweet. This hits a sweet spot for me because of the dry down. I would recommend this for very hot weather. It doesn't last long at all, and it's not terribly offensive. Good for office wear. I could also see this fitting all ages and genders or whatever but stereotypically speaking, this is for a young girl. It would be excellent for a "first perfume" kind of gift. A nice dumb reach kind of perfume. I could see a girl that doesn't really care for fragrance wearing this. She just wears it cause that's what she was given. Strangely elicits images of vacation bible school and horse girl energy.

It's a pretty bottle with a lovely scent. If you like the OG, you will like this one, as it has the same DNA but is fresher. As everyone said below, it is ideal for spring and summer. I see it as the perfect perfume to wear after a shower and on a white shirt and jeans outfit during a sunny day. It does smell clean and has an aquatic aspect, probably thanks to the coconut water and the pear. These are the two notes I picked the most. Performance-wise: like a Marc Jacobs, haha Daisy Dream is loyal to its name and acts like a dream: vanishing quickly. But unlike a dream, you can reaccess it and repeat it by reapplying, if necessary. To me; this is not the kind of perfume that will make a statement. Perfect for someone who is not really into perfumes or with high standards when it comes to perfumes and just wishes to smell clean as it is inoffensive.

I used to dislike this and find it boring but after wearing it for a solid week paired with eos fresh and cozy lotion I love it!! I can smell all the nuances and it’s a gorgeous almost perfect ethereal angelic scent ugh. My best friend and boyfriend gave it a 9.5 out of ten and I have to agree, the only thing that makes me sad is that it doesn’t have any sillage but my boyfriend says it lasts all day. I may just be nose blind because I reapply every like 5 hours. Reminds me of bluebells and kisses and lacy tank tops and secrets between girls. This is kinda juvenile but I don’t care it’s fresh and clean and beautiful and anyone can be fresh clean and beautiful no matter their age.

I bought Daisy Dream after sampling it on a trip to St. Maarten a couple of years ago. On me, the lychee and wisteria are most prominent. I love lychee scents and in DD it balances lithely between the slightly dried pear and floral mids. The blackberry is subtle so I don't find this to be a "berry" scent. I love jasmine and it's light and lovely here. The combo of base notes reads slightly tropical and mildly aquatic some days, and more musky, soft, and creamy other days, maybe depending on the temperature. It's sophisticated without much seriousness and fun without being juvenile. Because of this, I find it pleasing to wear year-round and in most situations.

The pretty bottle design and light blue perfume color tell you exactly what to expect. This is an ethereal, floaty dream that will make you feel like a ballerina or a florist. The fragrance whispers rather than shouts. The lychee, coconut water, and wisteria give it a soft tropical flair - more like strolling through the gardens of a Hawaiian resort rather than lounging on the beach. It lasted four hours, longer than I was expecting. The lightness of the scent leans younger. It’s definitely a daytime fragrance, spring for sure, maybe summer if it’s a cooler day. Would make a nice gift for a teen as a first perfume, or for someone who eschews loud scents.
